She is currently a PhD Candidate in the School of Management and Technology (with a Leadership and Organizational change Specialization) at Walden University. Her dissertation topic is "Variables Affecting the Success of Small Business Enterprises".

Wanda is a social entrepreneur, and was past founder of a charter High School with a focus on entrepreneurship, civic, and political leadership. Occasionally, she has the privilege of keynote/motivational speaking, as well as workshops for various groups on the topic of Entrepreneurship.
